Kabar News Agency, Rossiyskaya Gazeta sign agreement on information cooperation

Bishkek, March 23, 2021 . / Kabar /. Within a framework of the Cross Year between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, an agreement was signed on Tuesday on information cooperation between Rossiyskaya Gazeta and Kabar Kyrgyz National News Agency, Deputy Director General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Rossiyskaya Gazeta Andrey Pershin said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He added the agreement includes a wide range of mutually beneficial information cooperation - from exchange of content and publications to the organization of joint major media events. The materials of Rossiyskaya Gazeta are presented to the partners free of charge.
"To date, 574 regional media outlets in 64 out of 85 subjects of the Russian Federation have a content partnership with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, and now we are moving into international level. I would like to point out that Kyrgyzstan became the first foreign country with mass media outlets of which agreements on information partnership were concluded today," he said.
Pershin also pointed out the project will allow local media and their audiences the opportunity to ask questions directly to Russian politicians, which is important in light of the development of allied ties between the countries.
In turn, Director of Kabar Kyrgyz National News Agency Kubanychbek Taabaldiev noted that close ties with the editorial board of Rossiyskaya Gazeta have been maintained for 10 years.
"I hope that in the future cooperation will only strengthen and the topics that we can raise will be of mutual interest to readers of both countries," he added.
In addition, the content partnership with Rossiyskaya Gazeta open up a number of opportunities for media representatives and authorities.
An agreement on information interaction was also signed with Chui and Issyk-Kul media centers.
Rossiyskaya Gazeta is a Russia newspaper, published by the Government of Russia. The daily newspaper services as the official government gazette of the Government of the Russian Federation, publishing government-related affairs such as official decrees, statements and documents of state bodies.
