Kyrgyzstan confirms 98 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, March 18, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Thursday 98 new COVID-19 cases, after conducting 3,597 tests within a day, raising the tally of infections to 87,143.
The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 reported 51 more recoveries, raising the total recoveries in the country to 84,031.
The death toll from COVID-19 in the country stood at 1,485, no new deaths were reported over the past day.
Currently, 347 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, 17 of them are in critical condition. Another 337 patients are being treated at home.
COVID-19 was first detected in Kyrgyzstan on March 18, 2020 and the first virus-related death was reported on April 2 the same year.
