Education ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Russia approve plan for expanding cooperation

A plan for expanding cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Education of Russia has been approved, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. Ministers of Education of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Beishenaliev and Russia Sergey Kravtsov signed the Protocol of negotiations, which includes: - A plan of priority actions to expand cooperation between the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic; - A plan of priority actions to study the issues of construction, creation and functioning in Kyrgyzstan of joint educational organizations that implement educational standards of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. “It is noteworthy that after the visit of our president to the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education was the first to start work on the agreements. This is very important for us, especially the work on a joint educational platform that will connect us. We are ready for close work, to open a new page of interaction,” the Kyrgyz Minister Beishenaliev said. In turn, Sergei Kravtsov thanked his Kyrgyz counterpart for the warm welcome. “I am sure our cooperation will benefit both the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. We have a lot in common, we are very interested in the experience of your republic in rural schools, issues of the national language. We are ready for interaction, we will show what we have in the field of assessing the quality and content of education, textbooks, international research, teacher training and, in general, the education management system. The Russian Federation ranks first in the international survey for PIRLS primary school. The results for PIRLS and PISA in Moscow are comparable to Singapore and South Korea, a very high result. Today in the Russian Federation a lot of attention is paid to the organization of children's recreation, education, we are starting a large program - the organization of advisers for educational work,” said Sergei Kravtsov.
