Iran wants to promote ties with Serbia
Deputy Commerce Minister for Promotion of Economic Affairs said Wednesday Iran and Serbia should expand bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
Addressing the preliminary meeting of the 13th Iran-Serbia joint commission in Belgrade, Mehdi Ghazanfari said Tehran and Belgrade should pave ways for boosting trade relations.
Ghazanfari said in the meeting, attended by State Secretary for the International Relations at Serbia’s Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Vesna Arsic, the two should develop bilateral cooperation in the fields of bank, commerce, energy and oil.
Ghazanfari added the Iranian and Serbian officials are to discuss several documents on cooperation that would be inked in a near future.
Iran’s Minister of Commerce Masoud Mir-Kazemi leading a delegation will travel to Serbia on May 6 to take part in the 13th meeting of Iran-Serbia joint commission.
