Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan debate cooperation in field of higher medical education

As part of his working visit to Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliyevmet with Minister of Health Faisal Sultan and President of the Pakistan Medical Commission Arshad Taqi. The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that the education minister also visited the Kyrgyz Embassy in Islamabad. During the talks, the sides debated issue of cooperation in the field of higher medical education, licensing and accreditation of medical universities of Kyrgyzstan, improvement of conditions for training of Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan, recognition of Kyrgyz medical universities by the Pakistan Medical Commission, and possibilities for Pakistan to provide humanitarian assistance to Kyrgyzstan in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
