Arab foundation intends to build educational complex in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 18, 2021 / Kabar /. Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Beishenaliyev has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a working visit.
The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Education and Science reported that as part of the visit, Beishenaliyev met with UAE Minister of Education Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi.
The sides discussed cooperation in education and science. The working groups of the Education Ministries of the two countries will soon begin joint activities in order to implement the agreements.
Within the framework of the visit, Minister Beishenaliyev also visited the world’s first Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence named after Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In continuation of the working visit, the Kyrgyz minister held a meeting with Mirza Al Saegh, a member of the Board of Trustees Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to build in Kyrgyzstan an educational complex by the Al Maktoum Foundation.
In the near future, after agreeing the date of the visit, a delegation of the Foundation is expected to arrive in Kyrgyzstan to conduct preparatory work and start construction of the complex.
Besides, Almazbek Beishenaliyev met with Director-General of the Office of UAE Prime Minister Abdullah Nasser Lutah, as well as with Assistant Director General for Leadership and Government Capabilities in UAE Prime Minister’s Office within the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs & the Future.
During the meeting, which was held in the format of an introductory talk, the Kyrgyz education minister became acquainted in detail with the UAE's vision and policy on the use of high technology, innovation and the use of artificial intelligence.
The meeting resulted in reaching agreement to identify areas of mutually beneficial cooperation and to work on them in a targeted manner.
