48 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan added 48 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the tally to 85,564, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said. According to data, 17 of them are registered in Bishkek, 12 in Chui Oblast, 2 in Naryn Oblast, 2 in Talas Oblast and10 in Jalal-abad Oblast. Out of the total cases 4,196 are medical workers, 4,121 of them recovered. A total of 82,391patients have recovered, including 85 new recoveries over the past day. The headquarters reported 2 COVID-19 related deaths over the past day, taking the death toll to 1,444. Currently, 420 people are currently hospitalized across the country and 372 patients are receiving treatment at home. 3,603 samples were tested in the last 24 hours across Kyrgyzstan.
