Safar-Harandi calls for boosting ties with Gabon
Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Mohammad-Hossein Safar-Harandi held talks here on Monday with his Gabonese counterpart Paul Mba Abessole on issues of mutual interests.
At the meeting, the two sides called for expansion of cultural and educational ties.
Referring to the two countries' cultural, economic and political commonalities, Safar-Harandi expressed satisfaction over the strong will and intention to increase bilateral ties.
He said that Iran is ready to exchange its valuable experiences with Gabon in the fields of culture and education.
Safar-Harandi said that Iran attaches special importance to the expansion of cultural ties with African governments.
Abessole, for his part, termed cooperation between Islamic Republic of Iran and Gabon as a role model for other countries.
