Qashqavi condemns Judaization trend by Zionist regime

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi here on Monday condemned the trend of Judaization and destruction of Muslims' holy sites by the Zionist regime in the occupied territories.

Talking to reporters during his weekly press briefing, he called on the international community to show reaction to the move.

He regretted that the trend of Judaization in the occupied lands is growing.

Qashqavi reiterated that such a move by the Zionist regime is against all international conventions and instructions made by world cultural centers such as UNESCO.

He reiterated that the trend of Judaization by the Tel Aviv regime should not lead to destruction of holy sites of other religions.

Qashqavi urged the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization as well as the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and the Arab League to show reaction to the move.

On making use of the name of Persian Gulf in the course of the Islamic games, he reiterated that the name of the Persian Gulf will by no means be omitted.

Qashqavi stressed that the Persian Gulf is an international title recognized by the United Nations. He added that any other title is forgery.
