Larijani criticizes recent move by US senators
Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Monday that the recent bill proposed by a group of American senators to ban export of petrol to Iran is indication of their stupidity and they should wait for Iran’s response.
Larijani made the remark at a joint press conference with his Bosnian counterpart in Tehran on Monday.
Such stands taken by the Americans are not something new and one of the problems of the US diplomacy is adoption of such double standard policies, he said.
The move would bring about mistrust while they have vowed to make changes, underlined Larijani.
They should know that the motto of change will not be materialized by maneuver or hue and cry, he said.
Larijani underlined that the Americans should wait for Iran’s response in due time.
