Secretary-General Of GCC: We Support Security, Stability And Sovereignty Of Iraq

Baghdad / NINA /- The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf, affirmed: "We support the security, stability and sovereignty of Iraq, and we stand with Iraq in its confrontation with terrorism." He said in a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein: "The Gulf Cooperation Council is keen to strengthen relations with Iraq," noting: "The Gulf states support Iraq in its war against terrorism, indicating:" The stability of Iraq has positive implications for the security of the region. For his part, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said: "We discussed with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council the electrical connection and the war against terrorism, and we touched on the issue of Gulf investments in Iraq in the future, and we also discussed preparations for early elections."
