Minister Of Industry Discusses With Pakistani Minister Of Military Production, Bilateral Relations And Aspects Of Industrial Cooperation

Baghdad / NINA /- The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz, received at the Ministry's headquarters today, Tuesday, Pakistani Minister of Military Production Zubaida Jalal and her accompanying delegation, and the two sides discussed bilateral relations and aspects of joint cooperation in industrial fields. During the meeting, the minister referred to the capabilities possessed by the Ministry of Industry and Minerals and gave an explanation about the Military Industries Authority, explaining that the war industry is the basis for strengthening the security forces and that Iraq needs to support and develop its military capabilities and equipment, and welcomes any joint cooperation with the State of Pakistan to develop Iraqi industry, calling at the same time, to organize a joint workshop, directly or via the Internet, to develop a vision for cooperation in the interest of the two countries, pointing to the direction of the Ministry of Industry towards searching for real strategic partnerships to transfer modern technology, train cadres and develop existing industries, since the ministry possesses great capabilities in various industrial fields and that Pakistan has high potential in the field of industry and human resources, which requires constructive cooperation to invest these capabilities in the development of Iraqi industry. For her part, the Pakistani Minister of Military Production reviewed her country's capabilities in the industrial field and the war industry in particular, expressing a desire to cooperate with Iraq and enter the Iraqi market in a way that contributes to achieving economic gains for the two countries. / End
