Inauguration of Sadyr Zhaparov to take place on Jan. 28

Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2021. /Kabar/. Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov signed a Decree "On Preparing and Holding a Solemn Ceremony of Inauguration of the Newly Elected President of the Kyrgyz Republic", the press service of the Kyrgyz president said. Under the Decree, an organizing committee has bern formed on the preparation and conduct of the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected president to be held on Jan. 28, 2021. On Wednesday, the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan recognized results of the early presidential elections as valid. According to the voting results, presidential candidate Sadyr Zhaparov received 1 million 105 thousand 248 votes, which is 79.20%, i.e. more than half of the votes of all voters who participated in the elections.
