U.S. announces support for unity and stability of Yemen

SANA'A, May 03 (Saba)- The United States supports a stable, unified,
and democratic Yemen, according to a press release of the U.S.
embassy in Sana'a on Sunday.

The release read the United States was one of the first countries to
recognize the newly unified Yemen in 1990 and it was a strong
supporter of Yemen's unity during the 1994 l War.

The embassy said in its release that violence would not resolve
issues, and only serves the interests of those who wish to deepen
divisions and destabilize Yemen.

Some acts of riots and vandalism targeted public and private
possessions taken place in Mukalla, Zonjobar and Radfan cities.
