OIC Secretary General congratulates Kyrgyz people on successful presidential elections and referendum

Bishkek, Jan. 13, 2021 / Kabar /. Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, congratulated the people and the Government of Kyrgyz Republic for the successful conduct of the Presidential elections and commended the great sense of maturity and responsibility demonstrated by the people of Kyrgyzstan throughout this process, the press service of the election headquarters of the candidate Sadyr Zhaparov said. The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) dispatched an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to the Kyrgyz Republic to monitor its Presidential Elections and Referendum 2021. “The OIC EOM monitored the elections in Bishkek and its suburbs held on 10 January 2021. It noted with satisfaction that elections were conducted in an open, peaceful, transparent and orderly manner in conformity with the Kyrgyz electoral law as well as with internationally accepted norms,” says in the congratulation.
