Tajik leader Rahmon congratulates President-elect Sadyr Zhaparov

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent congratulatory message to Sadyr Zhaparov on his victory in Kyrgyzstan's presidential elections, the press service of candidate Zhaparov's election headquarters said. "The results of Kyrgyz people's will testify to the broad support of the society for the course you have chosen, which is aimed at strengthening stability and harmony in the country, its further sustainable development and consolidation. The peoples of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are connected by centuries-old traditions of friendship, good-neighborliness and mutual respect. Being interested in preserving and augmenting the fruitful historical legacy of relations between our peoples, I hope for joint and consistent efforts to elevate the entire range of Tajik-Kyrgyz multifaceted cooperation to a qualitatively new level," the congratulatory message runs. Emomali Rahmon wished Sadyr Zhaparov good health and success in his responsible state activity, and peace and stability to the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan.
