Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reach 82,495 with 115 new cases

Bishkek, Jan. 12, 2021 / Kabar /. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan rose to 82,495 on Tuesday, after an overnight registration of 115 cases. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that of the total number of cases 4,149 are medical workers, including 4,026 recoveries. Meanwhile, 178 patients have recovered over the past day, bringing the total cured and discharged to 78,181. The death toll reached 1,374 with three virus-related deaths in the previous 24 hours. Currently, 808 patients are being treated in hospitals, including 49 in intensive care units and 1,203 patients are receiving treatment at home. Kyrgyz health workers conducted 5,641 laboratory tests for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
