AZERBAIJAN TO HOLD BILATERAL TALKS IN GENEVA ON ADMISSION TO WTO

Baku, 2 May (AzerTAc). On 4-8 May Azerbaijan is to hold in Geneva bilateral talks with a number of states on admission to the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Azerbaijan has presented new proposals in the sphere of goods and services, Mahmud Mammadguliyev, deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan told media representatives.
Among the states to negotiate, there are Japan, Ecuador, Sri-Lanka, India and Norway. “Meanwhile, we are to have talks with Switzerland, too. As to the United States and the European Union, discussions with them we plan for June,” Mammadguliyev underlined.
