Kyrgyzstani female wrestler Tynybekova earns gold at World Cup

Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s athlete Aisuluu Tynybekova won a gold medal at the World Cup of Women's Wrestling, the United World of Wrestling (UWW) said.
The Individual World Cup is taking place these days in Belgrade, Serbia.
Tynybekova competed in the 62kg weight class. In the 1/8 finals she defeated the Romanian athlete Christa Tunde Inkze with 10:0. In the quarterfinals, she won over Turkey's Cansu Aksoy scoring 10:0.
In the semi-finals, the Kyrgyzstani met with Russia’s Lyubov Ovcharova. The bout ended with 13:2 in favor of Tynybekova.
Aisuluu Tynybekova wasted little time scoring in her final against three-time European champion Anastasija Grigorjeva from Latvia (14:0).
Another Kyrgyzstan’s representative - Meerim Zhumanazarova reached the finals. She competed in 68kg weight category.
Earlier, Kyrgyz wrestler Zholoman Sharshenbekov won gold in Greco-Roman wrestling at the World Cup. National wrestlers Kaly Sulaimanov and Ruslan Tsarev won bronze medals.
