Mamytov congratulates on International Day of Disabled Persons

Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2020 / Kabar/. Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov, sent his congratulation in connection with the International Day of Disabled Persons. In his congratulation message Mamytov said that every year, the state holds on this day the events that demonstrate respect for persons with disabilities and public attention to their urgent needs and problems. Measures for social protection and promotion of the integration of persons with disabilities into society are being implemented. “We are facing new goals, objectives and priorities to ensure maximum conditions for improving the social life of persons with disabilities,” the acting President stressed. He also noted that there are 193.7 thousand people with disabilities in the republic, of which 32 thousand are children with disabilities. Despite the limitations in their health, these are talented and extraordinary willpower, courageous people. “Meeting the needs of people with disabilities is one of the main tasks of the state. Kyrgyzstan has undertaken to create conditions for ensuring the participation of all people in the social, economic and political life of the country, taking into account the special needs of persons with disabilities. We will fulfill these responsibilities,” Acting President Mamytov said. He wished everybody to achieve joint success in their plans, the Kyrgyz citizens - confidence, great courage in life, inexhaustible energy in the fight against illnesses, optimism, and most importantly - to feel the support of loved ones.
