Means of enhancing trade exchange between Oman and Yemen discussed

MUKALLA, April 29 (Saba)- A meeting was held in Mukalla city of
Hadramout governorate brought together head of Hadramout Commercial
and Industrial Chamber Amr BaJarash and delegation of the
Omani-Yemeni Friendship Parliamentary association headed by Muslam
Ali al-Mashani over means of enhancing the trade ties between Yemen
and Oman within a good relationship between the two nations.

The meeting was attended by Hadramout businessmen and directors of
the investment, industrial and agriculture offices in the
governorate who also discussed solutions to overcome problems facing
the products exchanging in the border outlets and transport of
businessmen and investors between the two countries.

BaJarash said the volume of the trade exchange between Yemen and
Oman increased 30 percent between years of 2007 and 2008, wishing a
further progress in the relations between the two nations.

He also reviewed opportunities of investments in the governorate,
voicing readiness of the chamber to provide the Omani side with
database related to available opportunities in the governorate.
