Chief of Kyrgyzstan’s General Staff Omuraliyev meets with Kazakh Ambassador Nurpeisov

Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2020. /Kabar/. Head of the General Staff of Kyrgyzstan’s Armed Forces Taalaibek Omuraliyev met with Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Kairat Nurpeisov. During the meeting, Omuraliyev noted a constructive and trustful dialogue has been established between the two states, as evidenced by the successful implementation of joint activities under the plan of cooperation between the Defense Ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. "Participation of our servicemen in joint activities aimed at improving combat training, in particular, the Anyrakai bilateral training of special forces is an example of inviolable brotherly relations between the armed forces of our countries," the chief of the Kyrgyz General Staff said. In addition to bilateral combat training activities, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan also cooperate through the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed readiness to further strengthen and enhance bilateral military cooperation between Defense Ministries of the two countries.
