24 students from Kyrgyzstan receive title of Best Students of CIS-2020

Bishkek, Nov. 18, 2020 / Kabar /. The awarding ceremony of the winners of the Best student of CIS-2020 contest was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the ministry reported that, Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev congratulated the winners. The aim of the project was to identify the best significant innovative projects of young scientists, as well as to identify and encourage students among all universities in the CIS countries who have most actively shown themselves in research work, creativity, student self-government, sports and creating a unifying platform for the development of science and education, the formation cooperation of students of the CIS countries. There were 600 applications from the CIS countries to participate in the competition. The total number of applications from Kyrgyzstan was 70. According to the results of the competition, 24 students from universities of the Kyrgyz Republic were awarded the title of the Best Student of the CIS-2020. The international Best student of the CIS-2020 project, organized by the Association Bobek National Movement and the Association of Young Scientists of the CIS, was launched in March 2020.
