Kyrgyzstan, Qatar discuss military-technical cooperation

Bishkek, Nov. 16, 2020 / Kabar /. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan Major General Taalaibek Omuraliev met today with Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kyrgyz Republic Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Suleiti. The press service of the General Staff reported that the sides discussed issues related to the draft Agreement between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the State of Qatar on cooperation in the military field. Major General Omuraliev emphasized the importance of concluding an international treaty, which will serve as a foundation for further development and promotion of mutually beneficial projects. The sides expressed their mutual readiness to develop cooperation between the Armed Forces of the two countries and implement the previously reached agreements. At the end of the meeting, Omuraliev expressed confidence in increasing the potential of the Kyrgyz-Qatari military and military-technical cooperation, establishing trust and partnership relations.
