Kyrgyz FM meets with Secretary General of Turkic Council

Bishkek, Nov. 13, 2020 / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev, within the framework of his working visit to the Republic of Turkey, met with Secretary General of the Turkic Council (Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States / CCTS) Baghdad Amreyev. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said that during the meeting Amreyev briefed Kazakbaev that after his visit to the Kyrgyz Republic in mid-October 2020, he informed the foreign ministers of the CCTS member states and a number of CCTS heads of state about the stabilization of the political situation in Kyrgyzstan and the return of political processes to the legal track. At the same time, Amreyev noted the strong support of the leadership of the CCTS member countries to the legal authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and their readiness to provide all possible assistance to Kyrgyzstan in further stabilizing the socio-economic life of the country. The Kyrgyz minister emphasized the increased role in the international arena of the CCTS, created on the initiative of the Aksakal of the Turkic world - the First President of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbaev. He thanked the Secretariat for the assistance provided to Kyrgyzstan by the brotherly member states of the CCTS and confirmed the readiness of the Kyrgyz Republic to provide full support to the initiatives of the Secretariat of the Turkic Council aimed at strengthening the integration processes among the Turkic-speaking states.
