Russia to assist Kyrgyzstan in its anti-corruption efforts

Bishkek, Nov. 12, 2020. /Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Maksat Mamytkanov together with Russian State Duma Deputy Oleg Kolesnikov held a press conference on the fight against corruption, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government reported. MP, member of the State Duma’s Committee for Security and Anti-Corruption Oleg Kolesnikov noted that Russia will help Kyrgyzstan in its work to combat corruption. He also noted that as a result of coordinated work in this area, including at the level of governments, the results will be seen in the very near future. In turn, Maksat Mamytkanov thanked the deputy for his visit to Kyrgyzstan and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation. Further, Mamytkanov and Kolesnikov answered questions of journalists on the declared topic. At the end of the press conference, the Russian MP noted he plans to hold meetings with representatives of law-enforcement agencies. Maksat Mamytkanov expressed readiness to assist in holding these meetings. Print
