Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases top 60,774

Bishkek, Nov. 4, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reached 60,774 with 596 new cases registered over the last 24 hours. The republican headquarters on COVID-19 said that 150 of the new cases are registered in the capital Bishkek city, Jalal-Abad Oblast – 89, Chui Oblast - 78, Osh - 17, Osh Oblast - 52, Batken oblast – 44, Issyk-Kul Oblast – 37, Talas Oblast - 23, Naryn Oblast - 5. From the total number of the infected 3,631 medical workers were contracted the virus since the pandemic, including 7 cases reported over the past day. Meanwhile, 527 patients recovered in the period of the 24 hours, raising the total recoveries in the country to 51,815. Four new deaths are reported over the last day, the death toll in the country stands at 1,163. Currently, 3,437 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country, another 3,771 patients are receiving treatment at home. 3,920 PCR tests were conducted in the country in the last 24 hours, in total 430,382.
