Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reach 58,394 with 596 new cases

Bishkek, Oct. 30, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Friday 596 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 58,394, the republican headquarters on COVID-19 said. The most of the cases are registered in Bishkek - 136 cases and in Batken Oblast – 112 and the rest are in other regions of the country. The headquarters also said that 7 medical workers tested positive over the past day, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,612. It has reported the recovery of 425 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 49,522. Three new deaths are reported over the last 24 hours, the death toll in the country stands at 1,142. Currently, 3,359 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country, 90 of them are in critical condition. In addition another 3,814 patients are receiving treatment at home. 3,123 PCR tests were conducted in the country in the last 24 hours, in total 417,187.
