Kyrgyzstan adds 522 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Thursday 522 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 57,798, the republican headquarters on COVID-19 said. Among the new cases 110 cases are registered in Bishkek, Osh - 33, Chui Oblast - 58, Osh Oblast - 75, Talas Oblast - 26, Naryn Oblast - 7, Issyk-Kul Oblast - 37, Jalal-Abad Oblast - 86, Batken oblast - 90. The headquarters also said that 3 medical workers tested positive over the past day, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,605. It has reported the recovery of 460 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 49,097. One new death is reported over the last 24 hours, in total the pandemic has so far claimed the lives of 1,139 people in Kyrgyzstan. Currently, 3,444 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 3,580 patients - at home. 3,886 PCR tests were conducted in the country in the last 24 hours.
