Kyrgyzstan has enough stock of medicines for COVID-19 treatment

Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Health-care organizations have purchased medicines for the treatment of COVID-19 on 92 items for a total of KGS 322 million 396.8 thousand, according to the latest clinical guidelines approved by the Ministry of Health, the press service of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund (MHIF) of the Kyrgyz Republic reported Wednesday. "At present, there is enough stock of medicines in health-care facilities. But, given the changing epidemiological situation in the country, in particular, the growth of number of people infected with COVID-19, it will be necessary to increase the stock of drugs in all regions of the country as soon as possible,” Chairwoman of the MHIF Elnura Boronbayeva said. Kyrgyzstan has enough stock of following medicines for the treatment of COVID-19: -anticoagulants (heparin, enoxaparin, nadroparin, dalteparin); - antipyretic drugs (paracetamol, ibuprofen); - antiplatelet (acetylsalicylic acid); - antibiotics from a group of cephalosporins (ceftriaxone, cefotaxime, cefephalopyme, etc.); - antibiotics of penicillin group; - macrolides; - anesthesia drugs; - physiological solution, Ringer's solution, salts for oral rehydration hormonal preparations; - antipeptic drugs; - cough medicines. In order to replenish the stock of personal protective equipment in time, responsible specialists of medical organizations submit daily operational information on the balances to the MHIF. Print
