Bishkek opens makeshift hospitals again

Bishkek, Oct. 19, 2020 / Kabar /. Bishkek Mayor's Office has prepared makeshift day hospitals for the treatment of patients with COVID-19. The press service of the municipality said that 8 such hospitals are opened in the capitalcity. There are enough oxygen concentrators, if necessary, they will be delivered to hospitals, all the hospitals have stocks of medicines and personal protective equipment, the report said. The makeshift hospitals were opened in Bishkek in June 2020 during the peak of the coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan, when the hospitals in the city were filled up with COVID-19 patients. Later in late August all the makeshift hospitals were closed due to the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the country.
