Situation in the Kyrgyz Republic remains stable: Internal Ministry

Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2020. /Kabar/. The situation throughout Kyrgyzstan remains stable and is fully controlled by law enforcement officials, the press service of the Interior Ministry reported Tuesday.
In the current circumstances and the "state of emergency" regime introduced in Bishkek, internal affairs officers, together with other law enforcement agencies continue to work systematically to identify, suppress and solve crimes.
Thus, 303 crimes and misdemeanors were registered in the republic in the last 24 hours, of which 151 are crimes and 152 are misdemeanors. For careful investigation of crimes and misdemeanors all necessary operative-investigating measures are conducted.
According to the police, the operational environment in the country remains under control of law enforcement agencies.
"In addition, the Interior Ministry urges citizens to comply with the requirements of the state of emergency and curfews imposed in Bishkek. In this regard, we ask you to treat the established rules and restrictions with understanding and full responsibility," the report says.
On Oct. 12 by Presidential Decree of Sooronbay Jeenbekov a state of emergency regime has been reintroduced in Bishkek, as the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan did not consider within three days the previously introduced state of emergency on the territory of the capital.
Following the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan, held last Sunday with the participation of 16 parties, supporters of political parties, which failed to win seats, organized protest actions in Bishkek demanding the annulment of the elections and claiming gross violations. Preliminary results showed that four parties crossed the 7 percent threshold to enter the parliament.
Kyrgyzstan's Central Election Commission on Tuesday annulled the results of the elections after clashes between police and protesters.
As a result of mass riots, over 1000 people were injured, one (man,19) has died.
