Another 5 Kyrgyzstanis died from novel coronavirus

Bishkek, Oct. 12, 2020. /Kabar/. According to the latest data from Kyrgyzstan's Republican Headquarter for Combating COVID-19, another 4 patients have died from novel coronavirus in the past day. Thus, a total of 1,090 coronavirus-related deaths were registered in the country since the outbreak of the virus. Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Monday 298 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 49,528. The Republican Headquarters also reported the recovery of 127 more patients, raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 44,522. Currently, 1,737 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 1,725 patients - at home. The HQ said that an increase in the number of new cases of coronavirus infection is observed in Kyrgyzstan, and deaths are recorded every day. In this connection it called the citizens to comply with sanitary standards: wear a mask, observe social distance, wash hands often with soap and an antiseptic.
