Kyrgyzstan to resume air service with Central Asian countries

Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2020 /Kabar/. Currently, work is underway to resume regular flights from Sept. 14 on the Tashkent - Bishkek - Tashkent, and starting Sept. 17 on the Almaty - Bishkek – Almaty routes, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.
Airlines have started selling tickets to these destinations. Flights to Tashkent will be operated once a week and frequency of flights to Almaty will be two times a week with a subsequent increase in their number.
The republic canceled all international and domestic flights since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March and resumed domestic flights on June 5.
Later, on Aug. 7. Kyrgyzstan has resumed air services with Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, and on Sept. 10 - with Kuwait.
