AZERI MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND ENERGY ATTENDS ENERGY SUMMIT IN SOFIA
Baku, April 26 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister for Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev attended the “Natural Gas for Europe: Security and Partnership” energy summit held in Sofia, Bulgaria on 24-25 April.
The summit which brought together delegates from Europe, Central Asia and the United States focused on Europe`s energy security, diversification of gas routes and other issues.
During the event, Natig Aliyev spoke of Azerbaijan`s energy potential, natural gas resources to be transported to the world market and possible transportation routes.
According to him, Azerbaijan is interested in diversifying its gas supplies.
The summit adopted a final declaration which pledges support for all infrastructure projects that are aimed at diversifying the supply of energy resources to Europe
