Kyrgyzstan reports 55 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Sept. 7, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan on Monday reported 44,458 COVID-19 after 55 new cases of infection were detected in the previous day.
Deputy Health Minister of the country Nurbolot Usenbaev told at a news briefing that out of the new cases 5 are medical workers, raising the tally of contracted medical workers to 3,157.
134 patients have recovered over the past day from the virus, in total 39,960 have recovered so far.
Currently, 601 COVID-19 patients are still in hospitals throughout the country and 3,004 patients are receiving treatment at home.
No new death from COVID-19 was registered in the past 24 hours. The nationwide death toll stands at 1,061.
Kyrgyzstan's COVID-19 daily infections have been falling below 100 since Aug. 31, after they once hit a record 1,654 cases on July 17.
