Iranian steel exporters should get license to export

TEHRAN, Iran, Sep. 5
Trend:
The Customs Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that the crude steel and steel product exporters have to obtain the necessary licenses from the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade.
The Director-General of the Export Regulation Office of the Customs Administration, Ali Akbar Shadman, announced the necessity of getting permission to export steel products today on Saturday, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Earlier, Mohammad Reza Kalami, the spokesman of Market Regulation Headquarters affiliated with the Ministry of Industries, Mining, and Trade, had said that if the domestic needs are met by the production units, the exporters will be allowed to export their products.
“If someone does not comply with the supply commitment, the export restrictions will be used to manage the market,” said Kalami.
