Iran-Indonesia women friendship week planned in Jakarta
First Iran-Indonesia Women Friendship Week will be held in Jakarta soon with the aim of promoting cultural ties between women of the two countries.
According to a report by Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the establishment of Iran-Indonesia women friendship council and signing cooperation agreements in women's affairs are among the other objectives of the event.
Seminar 'gender equality from Islam's point of view' and educational workshops will also be held on the sidelines of the event.
The seminar will discuss common issues pertaining to the two countries' women.
