Kyrgyzstan’s number of recoveries from COVID-19 approaching 39,000

Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2020. /Kabar/. Another 246 coronavirus patients have recovered in Kyrgyzstan in the past day, Nurbolot Usenbayev, the Deputy Health Minister of the republic told a news briefing. A total of 38 thousand 895 Kyrgyzstanis have cured of novel coronavirus since the first case was detected on March 18. Kyrgyzstan reported on Wednesday 78 new COVID-19 cases, 44,036 in total. Currently, 670 COVID-19 patients are still in hospitals throughout the country and 4,799 patients are receiving treatment at home. The COVID-19 fatality rate in the country stands at 1,060, as no new deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours.
