ELCHIN GASIMOV WINS FIRST PRIZE AT EUROPEAN JUDO CHAMP
Baku, 25 April (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani judo fighter Elchin Gasimov (73 kg) has won the first victory at the European Judo Championship in Tbilisi.
Gasimov has defeated Belarus Igor Mashko and thus has reached the next round to compete with German Mario Shendel.
Elkhan Rajably (81 kg) managed to conquer Croatian Tomislav Marianovich in the first bout, however, he lost the second bout to Ole Bishoff (Germany).
