MILLI MAJLIS SPEAKER MEETS CHAIRMAN OF STYRIA`S PARLIAMENT
Baku, April 24 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan Milli Majlis Speaker Ogtay Asadov met Friday with Chairman of the parliament of Austrian federal state of Styria Siegfried Schrittwieser and his accompanying delegation.
Asadov said the Styrian delegation`s current visit to Baku will contribute to boosting bilateral cooperation.
He praised the level of inter-parliamentary cooperation saying Azerbaijan-Austria inter-parliamentary working group functions in Milli Majlis. Asadov also invited the Speaker of Austrian Parliament to Baku.
According to the Speaker, about 15 Austrian companies operate in Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that bilateral economic ties would deepen even more in the future.
Siegfried Schrittwieser expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan.
He said during the visit they conducted fruitful talks to explore the ways to boost bilateral cooperation.
According to him, the Styrian Parliament has established good relations with Azerbaijan.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual concern.
