SOCAR PRESIDENT ATTENDS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN TURMENISTAN
Ashgabat, April 24 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev attends international conference entitled “Reliable and Stable Transit of Energy and the Role of Energy in Sustainable Development and International Cooperation” here.
The conference brings together top officials of UN, OSCE, CIS, Energy Charter, Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), as well as leaders of more than 100 oil&gas and service companies over the world.
Opening the ceremony, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow noted that 58 countries have backed the conference and thanked the heads of states for supporting Turkmenistan`s initiative.
In the first day, the conferees heard reports of the heads of delegations.
