UNITED NATIONS PUSH FOR REALIZATION OF “CASPIAN INITIATIVE”

Baku, 24 April (AzerTAc). The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) insists on implementation of the so called Caspian Sea Initiative, a new initiative to strengthen the capacity of States to fight drug trafficking around the Caspian Sea and the southern Caucasus region, Regional Representative for Central Asia of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) James Callahan told a press conference. “The meeting to discuss Caspian Sea Initiative is expected to be held in Baku several months later”, he has underscored.
