AUSTRIAN DELEGATION VISITS NAKHCHIVAN STATE UNIVERSITY
Baku, April 24 (AzerTAc). Austrian parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker of the Styrian State Parliament Siegfried Schrittwieser visited Thursday the Nakhchivan State University. A 30-person delegation included MPs, government officials, mayors, businessmen of the Styrian State Parliament, and journalists.
During the meeting, the guests familiarized themselves with the educational building, its electronic library and sport square.
Greeting the guests, rector of the Nakhchivan State University, academician Isa Habibbayli briefed the guests about the history, ways of development, state care and International relations of the University.
Then, the speaker of the Styrian State Parliament Siegfried Schrittwieser highlighted that the University has higher financing-technical sources. The guest also expressed his gratitude for warm welcome.
The sides agreed to sign cooperation between Nakhchivan State University and the Austrian Universities.
The Austrian delegation also visited “Ashabi-Kahf”, the historical monument and worship place, Duzdag Physiotherapy Center, Momina Khatin Tomb and other historical monuments in Nakhchivan.
