AZERBAIJAN DEFENSE MINISTER VISITS TURKEY
Baku, April 24 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Defense Minister, colonel-general Safar Abiyev has arrived in Turkey for an official visit at the invitation of Turkish Chief of General Staff Ilker Basbug.
They will discuss security issues in the region and prospects for military and technical cooperation between the two countries.
The Azeri Defense Minister also will have meetings with President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, chairman of Turkish parliament Koksal Toptan, Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul and undersecretary for Defense Industries Murad Bayar.
