Coronavirus’ latest: Kyrgyzstan confirms 589 more recoveries

Bishkek, Aug. 6, 2020. /Kabar/. Over the past 24 hours, another 589 patients throughout Kyrgyzstan have recovered from coronavirus infection, Head of the Public Health Department of the Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova told during a news briefing Thursday. A total of 30,099 Kyrgyzstanis have cured of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. The republic registered on Thursday 549 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 38,659. The virus-related death tally climbed to 1,447, with 9 more recorded in the previous 24 hours.
