Kyrgyzstan, Croatia discuss wide range of bilateral cooperation issues

Bishkek, July 24, 2020. /Kabar/. On July 24, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Radman. During the conversation, the sides discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues, and stressed the need to further expand economic cooperation through the organization of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries. Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union was also debated, including interaction between the countries under the new European Union – Central Asia Strategy, as well as joint efforts to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. In an open and constructive conversation, views were exchanged on key aspects of the international and regional agenda, including cooperation within the UN, EU, OSCE and other international organizations.
