Kyrgyz first deputy FM discusses cooperation issues with Korean ambassador

Bishkek, July 17, 2020 / Kabar /. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuran Niyazaliev held a video meeting on Thursday with Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kyrgyz Republic Ha Tae-yeok. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that during the meeting, special attention was paid to discussing measures taken by the governments of the two countries to combat coronavirus. The sides agreed to continue cooperation on countering COVID-19, in particular, studying the successful experience of the Republic of Korea in preventing the spread of infection and holding elections during a pandemic. The sides also exchanged views on the current state of Kyrgyz-Korean bilateral relations and possible ways of developing cooperation in political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
