Kyrgyzstan registers 488 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, July 13, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases increased by 488 on Monday, while the total cases climbed to 11,117. Ainura Akmatova, the head of the public health care department of the country’s Health Ministry said that of the total confirmed cases 4785 are men, and 5115 are women. She added that among the newly infected 125 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 1,781 including 560 recoveries. A total of 73 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, raising the total recoveries to 3,460 since the outbreak, Akmatova said, noting that so far 668 patients are being treated in hospitals with 21 in intensive care units, 121 of them are in serious condition. Meanwhile, 15 patients died in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 147. Akmatova said that health workers conducted 1,456 tests in the past 24 hours.
