AZERI OMBUDSPERSON ATTENDS SECOND SUBREGIONAL EXPERTS` MEETING ON HUMAN RIGHTS IN MOSCOW
Baku, April 23 (AzerTAc). Ombudswoman of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova attended the second Subregional Experts` Meeting on Human Rights within UNESCO`s Competence in Moscow.
The event was co-organized by UNESCO Office in Moscow and Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in the framework of the International Year of Human Rights Learning.
It brought together human rights experts, representatives of international organizations and NGOs and others.
The event participants discussed issues related to the implementation of the right to education as a pre-requisite for the implementation of all other human rights and human rights education as an integral part of the right to education.
Azerbaijan`s Ombudswoman addressed the meeting.
